At the heart of the project are productions demonstrating true power of the Siberian dance. Its unique characteristics are conveyed through costumes and reflected in its themes: «Golden Russia», «Farewell to Winter» based on paintings by Vasily Surikov, «The Bullfinches» and many others.
The kids participating have the unique opportunity to not only enjoy the productions, but learn things like a particular costume’s history or the folk dance basic moves at play in-between the performances. In the educational part of the concert, the young participants are also told about three varieties of folk dance: dance-off, quadrille and khorovod.
Yeniseiskie Zori here is a guide to the world of culture, paying great attention to the spiritual and moral education of children.
